Our ward had a very early Trunk or Treat. I may not have gone if I wasn't on the activities committee. I made cupcakes for the cupcake walk. They are Yummy Mummy cupcakes. I think they turned out pretty cute!I dressed the kids as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. I made the costumes. I'm not a seamtress by any means but I'm pretty proud of the way they turned out! I'll have to take more on Halloween. I didn't get very good pictures this time around. They were both grumpy.
Preston hated the hat. He kept getting mad about it.
Brad took him around Trunk or Treating...we've enjoyed his candy!! Ha ha.

The best zoo EVER!
So, it was a beautiful day today. High 70's...perfect weather to go to the zoo. We packed up the kids, packed a lunch and ventured out. We had no idea what we were in for! What a fun day!! Well...our first clue should've been this sign...a 3 acre zoo??!?!?Then you walk in and see this sign...which is ALL the animals that they have there.
BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPING!!!
There were chickens and roosters roaming around everywhere so the sidewalks all look like this.
The friendly zookeeper, let's call him Bob. He showed us "Coti", not sure what kind of animal it was but he said the trick to getting him out was jiggling your keys. So, he did.
Then Brad asked where the chimp was. "Bob" proceeded to say "He's not out? Let me go get his butt up" and walks over. He was inside in the air conditioning.
Evidentally, Mr. Chimp "Terri" was his name likes to watch TV?? This was in the back of his cage.
Can you tell we're having fun here??
Pretty much this was the only real photo op.
Interesting sign?!
The coolest animal there. It was kinda fun to see him up close and out of his cave!!
THE bathroom. You know it's small when this is the only one!!
This was Preston's favorite part...the STUFFED animals!
My beautiful baby girl!
Interesting sign on the way out.
AND last but not least...the parking lot. Yep, it's the street.
This concludes are fun outing to the zoo. In the words of Elder Worthlin "There is an antidote for times such as these: learn to laugh."

A happy fun-filled day!
My mom was here visiting for all of last week. I always love having her come. She is always so helpful with the kids and is great company. I got to go buy some new clothes which I haven't done for a while and it was fun to go with her. Thanks to Brad for babysitting for a little while so I could go "kid free".
We had such a busy day yesterday. First of all, our beautiful baby girl was blessed. We had a lot of Brad's family here and all but one of my brothers from my side. It was so fun to have them all here to witness the occassion and participate in the blessing. I thought it was so neat to have such a beautiful Priesthood ordinance performed in my home. Hannah cried through the blessing and everyone said she kept tooting, but I didn't hear that part!! All I heard were the wonderful words spoken by Brad. She was dressed in the most gorgeous dress made by her Grandma Clark. I will have to take more pictures to really show you how pretty it was!!
Then Brad received his white coat yesterday! My little student doctor hubby looked so handsome!! I thought it was cool that Brad got his WHITE coat and Hannah was in her first WHITE dress.
This is him getting his coat at the ceremony.
I'm so proud of him and all the hard work he does.
THANK YOU to all the family that participated and drove so far to support us and spend time with us! It is much much appreciated! We love you all!!!

KIDS
We thought this picture was funny because Hannah is soooo gonna catch up to Preston's size. Preston weighs about 18 lbs and Hannah weighs 12.5 lbs. It's incredible to see Hannah grow. Preston was so small for so long!
Wrestling already!!
So cute. We can't really get Preston close to Hannah, he just doesn't want to so Brad tried to hang him upside down close to her.
My mom is here visiting again and on Friday we will have lots more family here. A lot of Brad's family and most of my family are coming to see Hannah blessed on Sunday. Brad also has his white coat ceremony for school on Sunday. We're so excited to entertain them and have them here.
Brad had the last few days off of school. It's a jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah, I believe. Next week he has wed-fri off and the week after that he's got mon-wed off for Yom Kippur! He'll have a whole week off! I'm so excited!
Hannah is getting cuter all the time. Her hair just cracks us up...it's so crazy all the time. She's getting little fat rolls on her legs...Preston NEVER had an ounce of fat on him really. He's always been pretty little.
Preston is saying new words like cee-o (cereal), joo (juice) and of course "cheeeeese" and "pleeeaase" which both sound the same.
Hannah is sleeping pretty good. I feed her before I go to bed and she gets up around 3 a.m. and then again around the time we wake up, 7 or so. So, that's not too bad. She's really good at going back to sleep at night too.
I got my fall decorations out today, although it feels like July. It's still in the high 90's here. Kinda wish it would cool off a bit. Anyway, it's fun to get out some decorations...can't wait for Christmas!!!
