Is anyone really good at home decorating? We just made this new headboard for our bed and we aren't sure what to hang on the wall over there. A wall sconce on either side? Lamps on either side? We have that picture of George Washington that could go above the bed. We just aren't sure what to do with it now.

I think you should put a big fat deer head over the middle. That would be so cool.
A moose head would be better. More shade. :)
That's really cool that you made a headboard. Jeff and I are designing one for Jeff to make. Congrats on the girl, also! And, by the way, I really want to get some spring or summer pictures of Allayna and some of all of us. I will have to talk to you sometime soon. I wish I could help you with decorating around the headboard. I struggle with interior design. I do like when people hang mirrors over beds, though. It makes the room look bigger.
Maybe some of those cube shelves on either side with pictures, candles, plants, etc. Or I really love iron wall sconces. Good luck!
Put the George Washington in the middle and a framed antique looking United States Flag on one side and a framed State of Ohio Flag on the other side (Ohio flag is also red, white, and blue.)
