HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

I love Valentine's Day! Who doesn't love flowers and candy?? Brad surprised me with a very cute necklace and earrings as well! Flowers, candy AND jewelry? Can't go wrong there, right? I was remembering last Valentine's Day when we dressed Preston up. I found out yesterday they aren't allowed to do this at the NICU anymore. But, I just thought I'd post the little cutie. Please don't make fun of his nose! HA HA! He had some funny tape on there to hold his CPAP on without hurting his little nose.

Sleepy time

Preston has never really slept anywhere but on his back, hence the fun helmet we've got for him. He decided he was going to sleep in other positions maybe a couple months ago. I saw him sleep on his tummy for the first time ever just the other night. I went in this morning and this is what he looked like. Face first in the blankie! It was pretty cute.

random pics

Blaaaaaaagh!

So I should've put this picture on a long time ago but I totally forgot we took it. This is when Preston had the flu and threw up all over me. Pretty sick.

I'm a big kid now!

Preston is off and crawling and thinks it is so cool that he can pull himself up onto things! I put him down for a nap and I can hear him in there grunting and the next thing I know he's pulled himself up onto the crib. He just stands there with a big huge smile laughing almost as if he's saying "ha ha mommy!" We have to laugh. It's pretty cute but it's frustrating when he won't take nap!!!

TONS better!

I am SOOOO happy these days. I haven't felt sick in 5 days now, I think. However many days...it's GREAT to be able to do things again. I even made lunch AND dinner! Brad was shocked! He's glad to have me back and I'm definently glad to be feeling better.
I had my first ultrasound yesterday. The baby measured 10 weeks 1 day. He/she was curled up in a little ball. So tiny and cute! It's always fun to hear the hearbeat and actually see that there really is a baby in there.
My doc is a little worried about me because of my last pregnancy. She said as severe as my condition was odds of having a preemie again are pretty good. I'm hoping to prove her wrong. She wants me to see a perinatologist during my pregnancy and she said they'll watch me like a hawk. It made me a little nervous but all I can do now is wait and see how it goes. So far this pregnancy has been very different from the last. I'd like to say that's because I'm having a girl. I have been sick but not near as sick as I was with Preston. I'm able to eat different things AND I actually got better this time. I was morning sick all 24 weeks of the last pregnancy and even after I had him, I was throwing up. So, I guess all we can do now is see how it goes!

Getting better?

THREE WHOLE DAYS WITHOUT THROWING UP!! I can't believe it! I hope it stays this way! I still feel a little queezy now and again but that's better than throwing up all the time!
We are so sad about our dear President Hinckely but are so excited to see what is to come. President Monson will be an awesome prophet and I know he'll accomplish many great things! He definently had that prophetic mantle upon him as he answered questions in this morning's press conference. He handled everything so wonderfully.
Preston is doing much better now. He even started to crawl this last week! Time to baby proof the apartment! He just wants to touch everything and explore his new little world. His crawl is so cute. It kinda looks like a little bunny hop. He sure thinks he's pretty cool.
He's also started pulling himself up onto things. I'm just glad he still has the helmet! It's prevented a lot of bumps and bruises this week!
