sick sick SICK of being sick!

I was doing so good for about a month! But, lately I have been so morning sick I can hardly stand it! Throwing up again and all. I thought I was over it but, I guess not! I just keep trying to tell myself it's all worth it...especially for my baby girl! Next week will be 24 weeks when Preston was born. Looks like we'll make it over that hump...thank goodness! My Dad found an article on Yahoo about Pre eclampsia. It said that eating dark chocolate reduces the risk of getting it. So, my mom bought me some...can't hurt to try eh?

Brad's DVD collection

If anyone knows Brad you would know that he loves movies. He prides himself on his DVD collection and keeps them nice and neat in alphabetical order. Well, Preston has discovered them lately and it's his new favorite thing to pull them all out. Yes, Brad puts them back in nice and neat alphabetical order. Today Preston pulled out so many of them that Brad just stacked them on top of the DVD shelves. I wondered if he would ever get sick of putting them all back alphabetically.
Everything is going well with us. Brad's interview in Arizona is a week from Monday. I am SO anxious to at least know where we're going to be and be able to really start looking into where we'll live. Sometimes it's really hard for me not to know what's going on and have everything up in the air, especially being pregnant. Things will work out, they always do.

Videos

Well, Preston may kill me someday for posting him in the tub but you'll just laugh and laugh when you watch. We've been meaning to post these for a while but we're dumb and couldn't figure out our editing program...we finally did. Enjoy. My favorite part of this first video, after the obvious, is after he realizes what happened his foot is frozen in the air. He cracks me up!

Girl names

OK, I'm so torn on names. I really love the name Hannah but I really like the name Hailey. I saw someone's name spelled Haley and I kinda liked that spelling. Anyway, if you like that name take a new poll on the spelling for us!
I keep having weird dreams. I had a dream that we went to med school and Brad made our family stay in a dorm with this little asian girl. I was very pregnant and Brad just wanted to do it to save money. I kept turning and looking at him and saying "I am NOT going to live here!" I stress a lot about where we're going to live when we move which is probably why I'm dreaming this. I also had a dream that I had a C-Section again and that I could pick the day so my parents could be there. Then I woke up and kinda wished that really would happen. Who knows!?

My Ever SO Talented Mom!

I just thought I'd put in a plug for my Mom. She has been writing songs for a long time and is probably one of the most talented artists I personally know! She has finally published some of her songs. She's backed up by Jamie Glaser, which is a great honor. You may not know the name but I'm sure you'll recognize some of the groups he's toured with or TV shows he's played on. Check out my Mom's website and you'll see how great she is! We really want her to do musical firesides. She would really be great for that. It was so nice growing up to always have my own personal accompanist too! And a great one at that. She can pretty much play anything you give her. She can transpose music by ear, which is amazing! She's done that for me before. I would never have made it through Music Theory without her! I love my Mom so much and I'm sure you'll love her music. Check it out at www.tinawang.net. You can also purchase her CD there.
P.S. I took her photo and designed her album cover! I am also singing in the backround with some other family members on the first track.

Brad

I just have to say that I have the best husband ever! I have really struggled this last week with being morning sick and achey and Brad is so good to clean up and do the dishes without even asking! I feel so bad that sometimes I can't do more! He has always been so good at doing this! I love him so much for that! I just can't wait until I feel like myself again!
I thought it would be fun to post some of our engagement pictures and tell you a little about us.
We met in 2004 just a few months after I returned from my mission in Washington DC. Brad interviewed me for my audition for the LDC choir at UVSC. I ran into a friend of mine at the audition that I hadn't seen in a while and it just so happened he was Brad's roommate! He proceeded to tell me after talking about Brad for a little bit that Brad would never date me because I was older than him. So, I kinda kept my distance for a while. But I was always watching him. One day a bunch of people from the choir (which I did make it into) were having some lunch. We started talking about relationships. Brad and I just happened to be in relationships that were going no where fast. For some reason I got this idea to make a deal with Brad that if neither of us had kissed our dates by a certain day that he and I should just make out. I honestly don't know why I said that because I wouldn't ever really do that! So, the day came around and neither of us had kissed our dates so I told him I would meet him at his place later that evening. So, I went over there and we talked for a long time. I was so in love with him that evening. I was able to tell Brad things I had never told anyone and I knew I could trust him. It took Brad a little longer to realize it was love but we never spent a day apart after that. We got engaged on December 23, 2004 and were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 23, 2005. I'll have to tell our engagement story another time.
I love Brad so much and I'm so glad I didn't marry the other guy I was engaged to before I went on my mission!!! HA HA. Brad makes me so happy and he's such a great Dad! Preston adores him. He's definently a Daddy's boy!

flashback

I've been thinking a lot about Preston lately and that pregnancy. Boy am I glad things are going better this time around. Preston was supposed to be due April 10th of last year and I think that's why I've been thinking about it since the 10th just passed. Not a day goes by that I don't thank the Lord for my little happy boy.

Finally some warm weather!!!

We were so happy to see some warm weather today! Brad and I just had to get out of the apartment and enjoy it! We took Preston to the park. He just wasn't sure what he thought of the swing at first. He just sat there with a blank stare on his face. He wasn't sure where to hold onto the swing either. It just looked funny.

So Brad took him on the big swing with him and as you can see he looks terrified! We gave him a little break and tried again and his mood changed. He was waving his arms and giggling a little.

It was a fun outing and much needed after a long winter!
Yesterday I went shopping for girl clothes and stuff. It was so fun! I only got a couple things. I also got some stuff to make headbands and hairbows to give me a little project to get me even more excited. I think I want to make a blanket of some kind but I'm a beginner. I made a rag quilt for Preston and it turned out OK but we never really use it! Ha ha. I would love to make another rag quilt for her or maybe a tied quilt but I'm not very good at it. If anyone has any suggestions for a beginners project I would love to hear them!

need some advice

Is anyone really good at home decorating? We just made this new headboard for our bed and we aren't sure what to hang on the wall over there. A wall sconce on either side? Lamps on either side? We have that picture of George Washington that could go above the bed. We just aren't sure what to do with it now.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!

It's official...it really is a girl! I'm pretty excited and I'm dying to go shoppping! All is well. My blood pressure is still normal and no signs of the protein that was present with Preston which means so far it looks like I'll have a full term baby! What a relief. Things could still turn but as of now, there is no need to worry!
I posted a lot more stuff on my photography blog! Let me know if I can be of service to anyone with baby announcements or whatever!!

My photography

So...I don't really advertise my work anywhere. It just happens to spread by word of mouth. Some of you might not even know that I take pictures and make custom invitations for pretty much any occasion. I thought I would create a blog that shows off a little bit of my work. If you want to check it out the link is on the right side under "My Photography".
Cross your fingers for a girl!!!!! LOL.

baby names

I find out for sure what I'm having this Wednesday. I'm really hoping they were right and it really is a girl. I found baby girl bedding I want and my mom actually bought it for me. She said we would just return it if it's a boy.

It's so cute I had to attach a photo!!! I'm just thinking pink! Boys are fun don't get me wrong but I have to have a girl.
We had a good weekend with our friends and family. I got to visit with a family from my mission and a good friend from my mission and some friends from Ohio and of course, both of our families. I was so worn out! I fell asleep around 9:30 last night! But it was so fun to visit.
So, this little poll that's going on for the baby girl names...my favorite was Hannah and Brad's was Hailey. I have had dreams about a baby girl named Hannah even before I was pregnant with Preston and during both pregnancies, so I guess I just feel it's meant to be a Hannah. But everyone else seems to like Hailey!! Sad. Well...we'll just have to see.

Preston's cute/funny habits

So, Preston has developed quite the little personality. Anyone that knows him would tell you that. I was thinking today about how many funny things he does. He really keeps us laughing all day. One thing he does lately is when he doesn't want something or doesn't like it, he just sticks his tongue out like this picture demonstrates and makes such a sour face! ANYTIME he eats ANYTHING he makes a funny face like he's not sure about it.
He babbles all the time now too and it's really cute and funny
He loves to play peek a boo. He just giggles. He also loves to play patty cake. Lately he's loved to play the "I'm gonna get you game!" He just squeels and crawls so fast. It's my favorite!
One that is very frustrating...he throws his glasses! He'll be sitting in the high chair and chuck them over the side onto the hard kitchen floor. Something about the high chair and the carseat...I guess he just gets bored and wants to play with something.

He loves the water. He loves taking a bath or swimming or playing in the sink...I think most babies love this but he just laughs and laughs in the tub or swim
ming. I need to try to post this video I took of him giggling in the tub...with an unexpected twist...he peed in his face and started to cry. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to pee myself!

He just started dancing about a week or so ago and I love it. He just rocks or waves his arm but I love that he loves music...it's in his blood, I guess. He also absolutely LOVES going to visit Grandma and Grandpa Wang at work...he loves to bang on the pianos. Grandpa lets him touch everything! He also pulls Grandpa's pen and glasses out of his pocket. It's the first thing he does when he sees him.

I just thought it would be fun to write some of his cute things and add some pics.
