Preston had a helmet appointment today and he is FINALLY done with it! I'm sure it feels so good to have it off his little head. He had an eye exam this morning as well and he is very near sighted. He had R.O.P. (Retinopathy of Prematurity) when he was at the NICU and they did laser eye surgery then but his eyes are still pretty bad. It's weird too because he seems like he can see pretty well. He always spots out little tiny things on the floor. So, we go to a different eye doctor on Monday and we'll probably pick out his glasses then.

Welcome to the world of babies with glasses! I gotta tell you, it can be very frustrating trying to keep them on Jenna, but maybe Preston will be better about it. Sometimes we wonder if her glasses don't improve her vision enough for her to want to keep them on. And, a day ago she put them somewhere when we weren't looking, so now we can't find them. Grr... :)
You will get comments all the time from everyone who sees Preston with his glasses. I guess there's something about a baby with glasses that induces random strangers to tell you their life stories! :)

Oh, he will be so adorable with glasses. When you get them, you'll have to post a pic....and we will need to come and visit you guys.
